!div style="display:none"!fjrigjwwe9r2content:tip!/div!!div style="display:none"!edf40wrjww2content:tip!/div!Most Times you use a Displacement map on a Model the Map doesnt fit the right way. When changing a maps position on a Model Strata must recalculate the Displacement from your Map. This can be sometimes very annoying. I found two ways to avoid this:
1) When you have a Model but not finished Displacement Map:
Select the New Displacement Map dialog. DONT put your final mappicture into the Texture. (just leave the Map rectangle empty) Name it and apply it to the Model. Set the positioning to anything not UV and change the position until the Map fits.
Now you can reopen the Displacemrent Map and put your picture in.

2) you have an allready finished Displacement Map:
For your Model make as above an empty Mapfile, position it, then do a burn UV. Now delete the empty Map and use your finished Map as UV.
