!div style="display:none"!fjrigjwwe9r2content:tip!/div!!div style="display:none"!edf40wrjww2content:tip!/div!In the never ending search for better lighting I have found that my greatest enemy is ambient light. I now use it very sparingly (like 3 to 8% ) and use a number of low intensity (8 to 30%), shadowless suns instead. These are placed as you might imagine at right angles to each other so you could have a maximum of 6 shadowless suns doing the 'ambient' work and your one 'real' sun casting the shadows. This works a treat for me. It gives me much better control over the usual "white out" or "Grey out" problem (esp when rendering buildings with lots of white finishes).
