!div style="display:none"!fjrigjwwe9r2content:tip!/div!!div style="display:none"!edf40wrjww2content:tip!/div!I like to test an animation before i spend a lot of time rendering it. Set the render settings to RT good or quick, then set the frame sizes to be very small, but still large enough so that you can see it. I usually set the frame width to 200 and then constrain the proportions so that the height will still be proportionate. By doing this you can render your animation very quickly (a few minutes) and see how you like the textures and the speed of the movement. Save the movie you create as "Test". If you like how it comes out, then you can render it again at high quality and large frames. This saves you from spending three days rendering, and then watching it afterwards and saying, "I didn't want it to look like that!"
