It was only used small, an icon for a Mac software package, and I donated it to the author so he was happy. The image below has been tweaked, and at the bottom left is a comparison between the old mesh and tweaked one. Id come to Strata with no 3D experience other than Adobe Dimensions, so apart from the delightful discovery of making a helix and extruding a profile along a path - I made a real mess of the other bits. I could not join the antenna parts together and the glass and back of the shell were a complete bodge using squashed primatives. Ive just redone those bits and modeled the glass and rear of the cabinet by duplicating a loop of polygons from the inside of the cabinet front to make sure they would fit neatly, then edge extruding to create necessary geometry. I should have redone the front shell too, I converted it from the path extrusion and its probably got too much geometry.
