I've just finished a complicated model of a cutaway of a house. My client was wondering if it would be possible for him to manipulate the model in Photoshop CS 3 Extended. As an experiment I tried it, but had problems. When saved out of Strata as Collada- the model came in as a black and white simple slab. When I saved it as OBJ the entire model came in, but without any textures or color. What procedure should I use to bring a model into Photoshop and the manipulate it?

rskover, in order to see all the textures in photoshop, they all have to be image textures, with images for the colors, and the images have to be mapped using UV.

You may have to ungroup all groups and shapes before saving the OBJ or DAE. i'm not sure about that last part.

there may be other items that need to be attended, but those are the big ones.
