I saw the 64bit post. But High Sierra will support 32bit apps. so I'm guessing that CX8.2.2 will run ok with High Sierra?

Also, my version of CX8.2.2 is named: CX9, which also appears on the doc icon. ? ? ?

Screenshot shows my 8.2 version next to the 8.2.2 version. I'm guessing I won't lose anything by deleting CX8.2.0

It still shows as Strata Design 3D CX 8.app on my Mac. I've confirmed it's 8.2.2 also. It works just fine on High Sierra for me.

Yes, CX 8.2.2 is compatible with High Sierra.

If you updated using the full product install disk image, then the copy process like recognized that the on-hard drive app and the disk image app being copied had the same name and so asked if you wanted to keep both copies. If you said, yes, then the system increments the number from 8 to 9 so you'd have both copies.

You can, and I recommend that you do, delete the CX 8.2.0 version and then rename the recently installed CX 8.2.2 version to Strata Design 3D CX 8.app.
