I know this goes for a number of Strata's products interacting with Adobe produ ts but this is one I use the most. Has there been any word on compatibility of Enfold with CS6?
Enfold 3D will not be compatible with Illustrator CS6 when that product ships. For now you'll have to continue to use Enfold 3D with CS4 or CS5. We may offer an upgrade in the future, but for right now this is not something you should rely on for your planning. Sorry =(
Is development ongoing with Enfold? I certainly hope that Strata continues with this product. It is a certainly a handy little application for those of us in the retail/packaging/POP industries.
enfold is a handy app for the price. would like to see an update as that is one reason to not update to cs6. would also like to see more "esko" features- like having substrate thickness, and exporting textures at 300 dpi. ressing up textures in photoshop is a tedious procedure.
but then again, enfold is very reasonable compared to an esko license......

Hi Brad and everyone. I don't have anything that I can announce as of right now about future releases of Enfold 3D. We're working with Esko on this. As soon as I have something that I can tell you all I'll be sure to let you know. Thanks for your patience.
This would be a good thing. I use enfold for all of these box designs I get and it works wonders. My only issue is the low res jpg it outputs with the file and I always have to take it and scale it up in photoshop, copy from illustrator, paste in photoshop, then copy that back into Strata.
Good times.

Hey Chris! hope all is well...I wish we could get a high res output from enfold too! the whole copy to photoshop and line up just right is soo annoying!
Christian - do you just have the Enfold plugin installed or do you happen to know if you have access to the Esko Studio plugin? It will allow you to export out to whatever resolution and save as a U3D or Collada. It might be worth checking around in your art department and see if there are any licenses. I lucked up and we had a couple that were not being used.
If you haven't seen the news Esko is managing Enfold for current and future versions of Illustrator. Enfold was based off of Esko's studio for boxes and is offering upgrades discounts to there current product through the April 30 2013.
