Joshua (or anyone) can you give me the javascript parameter syntax for executing a script?

Should be something along the lines of:
('? AppControl.script=uc5409nv; AppControl.subgroup=whatever')

Thanks in advance,
Mike G.

('? Scene.3d.playStartSlow("uc5409nv") ')

You might have to play some games with all the quotes, if you are sticking this into an onclick handler.

Hmm... No dice.

I'm using a function like so:

function runLive3dScript(theScript)
{
document.applets[0].getParameter('? Scene.3d.playStartSlow(theScript) ');
alert(theScript);
}

Called from:
onclick="runLive3dScript('uc6c82d6_1036')"

The alert is in there just to make sure there's no problem with quotes.
The script itself does work since I can fire it off within the applet.

You are missing quotes and string concatentation.

document.applets[0].getParameter('? Scene.3d.playStartSlow("'+theScript+"') ');
