Note that 99% of these tutorials are not for Strata 3D. SDS modeling is pretty standardized across 3D apps. You may have to get creative occasionally, but you should be able to use all of these tutorials.

Character Modeling Tutorials:

Various simple shapes (dice, screw, pencil, etc.)

I'm still adding to this list, obviously.

If you have a tutorial to add, that you KNOW works in Strata 3D, please post it in this thread. I'll add it to the list.

Cheers =)

That site is great, and I'll leave your post here so people can find it. I'm hoping the tutorial list will be more focused, and contain only tutorials that you can actually do in Strata 3D.

I can't imagine anything more frustrating for a beginner to start on a tutorial and get to step 53 before discovering that they're missing a tool they need to continue.

Something like the tutorials on Second Reality, my first link, where each tutorial can be done in about an hour (more for beginners, of course) and you end up with something that looks good. It reinforces the value of the tutorial, as people tend to continue doing what works for them.

As soon as I finished my anniversary clock in Strata Vision 4, I was hooked =)

totally agree with you!
As i mentioned, it's a bit specialized... on the other hand, there are quiet some people who use companion tools like Wings, Hexagon, and not forget about Silo, which Strata promotes on their own website...
