DV is a digital, non-linear video editing program, like Premiere or Final Cut Pro.

well, you can do all the rotating and animating in Strata, and then if you want to add film effects or compositing, you can do that in DV. I don't know what kind of formats that FCP imports, but yes, I imagine there are several ways you could put your Strata animations into FCP. QT, DV stream, etc... |

The nice thing about using Strata and Final Cut Pro together is the ability to render the alpha channel on your animations. You import into Strata, and you have a nice clean mask of the model all done for you (minus shadows, though).
