Hello. Would anyone please advise me on the best way to place a light outside an enclosed dark room, to shine through an open doorway ? I have in the past produced this sort of thing in airbrush, but do want to work it in 3D.
Di I construct a box first, then place a spotlight outside ?
Any advise, tutorial or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Well, so much for that, but no worries, have figured it out for myself.

Maybe I'm too late. I'd think about using a point light rather than a spot light. And no need to put it in a box.

If you have your camera inside the room and want the light to shine through the door with some mystic look use a spot light from above, aim it on the door and apply some fog texture. I think this will do it.
