Thought I would add one of my own. The water was modelled in the CX SDS modeller.

Looks pretty good, Paul. I have a standard font/layout for the credit, though. I would have to get a version with that removed.
How does it look if you pull the camera back a bit?

Here's a few layouts from a couple of older images:

The second one's 3D, put your glasses on! |

Michael, just added a new version of my water/checker ball image above. This is with the text removed and also zoomed out a bit. That's as far as I can zoom out as the cube I made the water from was quite small.
Paul.

Here's one from me...the bottom right might be a little tight for the credit. |

I've got another one here, if you're still taking them. I downloaded the CX demo this afternoon and tinkered with my old chess scene:

Is that why the site keeps going down?

No, that's a separate problem. The cafe database keeps corrupting, and we're trying to figure out why the Perl scripts for models and textures won't work since the mail server's open relay was shut down.
Doesn't that all sound fun =)

Sure, just as fun as late-night PHP debugging, or even better Javascript-debugging!

Turned out to be a bad IDE controller. The cafe was corrupting the database every time someone added an image. Very annoying.

I haven't done a shot of the whole board, but the uncropped shot is here: http://www.aranai.com/misc/chess_render3cx_2.jpg

Of course. Even after the new look is live, I'll be adding new banners all the time, and swapping out old ones. It's great to have so many good ones to choose from =)
