How do I use the textures on your site with Strata 3D?
Once you have downloaded the "sit" file, uncompress it with Stuffit Expander (Mac and Win). Take the resulting file and place it in this folder: strata3d/libraries/textures/

It will then be available in the library palette the next time you start Strata3D.

How do I use the models on your site with Strata 3D?
Once you have downloaded the "sit" file, uncompress it with Stuffit Expander (Mac and Win). Then double-click the file or use the "open" command in the file menu of Strata3D to open the file.

What should I know if I want to submit a texture?
To submit textures to the site, export it from your library palette with the .sft extension (Version 3 and up, no StudioPro files please, that would get really confusing for new users. Sorry.) and compress the file with Dropstuff (Mac and Win). Then, compose an image of the texture 100 pixels by 100 pixels and save the file as a JPEG (with the .jpg file extension). Add textures to the site with this form: Add Model Form.

Please attempt to keep the file size of the texture below 5 MB. People will be more likely to download your texture if it is small.

Please Note: By placing your files on this site you are basically letting anyone download it and reuse it for any purpose. Be very comfortable with this before you send anything to me. I can take files down if you wish, but no matter how quickly I do that, it may be too late.
